With more than twenty-five years' experience in sales and management roles, Brian has built a proven track record characterized by his leadership, team-building, and interpersonal skills. He also brings his extensive experience in investment property acquisition, property management, and real estate development.

Prior to joining LIST Sotheby's International Realty, Brian began his real estate sales career as a Broker Associate in 2001. Brian believes strongly in the value of continuing education to provide his clients with competent, quality service. He earned his certification as a Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS) in 2005 and also, the Accredited Buyer's and Seniors Real Estate Specialist Credentials in 2003. Two years with the leading RE/MAX franchise in Costa Rica was an eye-opening experience that gave him the opportunity to serve clients from countries around the world.

Brian has a big heart for community service and helping others. He worked for 13 years with troubled adolescents and families, including 7 years with the Mental Health Center of Boulder County in Boulder, CO. Throughout the years, Brian has developed a passion for advocating to the best of his ability for his client’s best interests in many different settings.  Brian believes that when it really matters, everyone should have a competent professional on their side and he finds it rewarding to operate with integrity and assist with effective communication.  Clients who hold these values are the types of clients that like to work with Brian.

In his spare time, Brian's an avid tennis player, enjoys swimming, hiking, and singing karaoke with friends.

Liya Chang

Liya Chang

Liya is a native of Taiwan and has been residing in Hawaii for over 30 years.  She has worked as a teacher and spend over two decades with JALPAK Hawaii, as an assitant manager in the tourism and travel industry.  She is fluent in Mandarin and English and to a lesser extent in Japanese.

Liya takes great pride in her work and is very detail oriented and has been called a perfectionist a few times!  She has a great eye for design and the small touches that really add to the attraction of our listings.
